CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS

"I have been an on and off customer of Worldwide Music Network since 1992. Over the past 21 years I have engaged your services on several occasions, and have also used more than a dozen other restoration and transfer companies. I have always been very impressed with the comparative quality and quick turnaround of your services. I've found that your CDs always have a more distinct and bigger sound, and your most recent CDs have a finished quality that others still don't have. I believe you have finally reached that pinnacle of perfection."

LP Audio Restoration & CD Transfers-Quality Comparisons

I have been an on and off customer of Worldwide Music Network since 1992, which is when I first found out about you through an ad in the back of Goldmine magazine. Over the past 21 years I have engaged your services on several occasions, and have also used more than a dozen other audio restoration and music transfer companies from all over the country (one here in Seattle; others in Los Angeles; Colorado Springs; Tucson; Chicago; Orlando; some place in Maine, etc.). I also used two different companies in Canada, and even tried dabbling in it myself with various software programs. What I want to say is that I have always been very impressed with the comparative quality and quick turnaround of your services, and would like to share my testimonial with others who may be considering the prospect of doing business with you.

Your services have always been top notch, but they have also consistently improved over the years. This shows that you invest in the newest and most advanced technology, and that you are active in developing and fine tuning your skills. You have demonstrated that you continuously seek to deliver a better product, rather than slacking off when business is good. This is something I can't say to be true of many other services I have used. The fact that you are still doing this when so many others have come and gone, is a testament in itself.

Comparing your work to even the best of other services I have used, I've found that your CDs always have a more distinct and bigger sound than anything else. Even as technology has enabled a countless number of people to get into this business, and considering that some are now able to do a fairly decent job, your most recent CDs have a finished quality that others still don't have, and higher audio output. Yes, your fees have traditionally been higher than most other services, but the noticeable difference in quality has in every case been well worth the additional expense. I also appreciate your offer to redo and improve some of my previous projects at a reduced rate, and I am amazed at what you were able to do with them. I believe you have finally reached that pinnacle of perfection.

After 21 years of experience, I consider myself an expert in terms of what is available in music transfer services. I no longer feel a need or have any remaining curiosity to make quality or price comparisons, and am from here on entrusting ALL of my business to your company. Thank you for the time and attention you have always given to my music projects, and for the always very professional and friendly service.

"It would be a mistake to overlook Worldwide Music Network for your next recording or mastering project. Stu is a professional with the knowledge, skill set, and equipment to do the project well.

Symphonic Band-Recording & Mastering

It is my pleasure to recommend Stu Nankin as a recording engineer, and Worldwide Music Network as an audio production operation. I have known Stu for one year, and worked with him in a live recording situation as well as a CD mastering project.

Stu was in charge of recording a music festival and honor band that I was conducting. He was thorough, flexible, and created a great sound product from the event. There were dozens of ensembles to be recorded live, including bands, orchestras and choirs, he made specific adjustments for each medium and produced a mastered product of all the ensembles in a very short amount of time.

Stu also mastered a CD for my elite University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Wind Symphony. His work was remarkable! I and other faculty members were all impressed with how his mastering of the live performances realy brought out the timbres of the ensemble and opened up the overall sound. Though I have not yet done a complete recording session with Stu, from these two experiences I know it would be a very successful musical endeavor.

It would be a mistake to overlook Worldwide Music Network for your next recording or mastering project. Stu is a professional with the knowledge, skill set, and equipment to do the project well.

"We are well aware that the quality of the original sound engineering of the recordings we submitted to you varied greatly. Thanks to your good work we now have a set of fifteen CDs that impressively display the beauty of the Choir's singing during the years 1949-1979."

LP & 78RPM Choir Recordings-Audio Restoration

On behalf of the Augsburg College Audio Recordings Restoration Committee, I want to thank you for the outstanding work on the fifteen analog recordings of the Augsburg Choir that you remastered for us recently. The oldest of these, as you know, was recorded no less than sixty years ago (1949), and the most recent over thirty years ago (1979).

We are well aware that the quality of the original sound engineering of the recordings we submitted to you varied greatly. Moreover, since the original tapes could not be located, these recordings existed only as vinyl records. In the case of the 1949-1950 recordings, we were able to supply only a set of much-played 78-rpm records.

Despite these serious problems, thanks to your good work we now have in hand a set of fifteen CDs that impressively display the beauty of the Choir's singing during the years 1949-1979. Thank you!

"Your keen ear, excellent recording equipment, and professional attitude from start to finish really made this CD the high quality product we had been imagining. The beautiful sound quality is a result of your professionalism and expertise."

Choir CD Recording-Mastering-Editing

Dear Stu, thank you so much for the outstanding sound engineering work you provided on the Juventus CD "Riches From Our Table." The CD is AMAZING! This was an important project for me and the youth of The Basilica, and your keen ear, excellent recording equipment, and professional attitude from start to finish really made this CD the high quality product we had been imagining.

You thoughtfully considered the vision I had, the incredibly live acoustics of our space, the voicing and instrumentation of the ensemble, and the time and budget restraints of our project. The beautiful sound quality of our CD is a result of your professionalism and expertise.

You did a great job on the recording, mastering and editing, and also in choosing the song sequence for the CD. The flow in that order is superb! I also want to thank you for creating the sound samples for our website promotion, they are a wonderful tool for enticing potential buyers.

Thanks again for doing such excellent work on this project! I look forward to collaborating again with you on future recording projects. Best wishes to you in the upcoming year!

The Basilica Of Saint Mary - Minneapolis, MN

"What a delight to listen to our beautiful CD, which is your restored version of the tape recording made of my and my sister's joint wedding in June, 1960. The music is lovely, and you can hear the entire sermon and the vows very clearly... this was quite a high for me! We really appreciate the work you invested to make this a quality CD that we will enjoy for years to come, and I extend to you my utmost gratitude!

Reel-To-Reel Audio Restoration-Wedding Ceremony

Dear Stu, what a delight to listen this morning to our beautiful CD, which is your restored version of the reel-to-reel tape recording made of my and my sister's joint wedding ceremony in June, 1960. This was one of the most thrilling projects I've ever had a hand in, and my sister and I have had quite a few. Barbara was already moved to tears by the first few notes of the violin at the very beginning of the CD, and we are thrilled with your precise work on that old amateur tape. You are a genius!

Everything is quite audible. The music is lovely, and you can hear the entire sermon and the vows very clearly... this was quite a high for me! It will be fun to let you know what my dear hubby thinks when he hears his old army buddy sing his solo, when I play the CD for him on our anniversary. I only wish that my departed brother-in-law was still alive to hear, but I know that his two very musical daughters will be ecstatic when they find out about this. I'm sure my daughter and son will also be surprised at the quality.

We had only heard this recording once before, which was about 26 years ago when I had access to a reel-to-reel tape machine as a music teacher in the local school district. I wasn't about to go out and try to buy an old used tape player at this point, and am so happy I found you.

We all really appreciate the work you invested to make this a quality CD that we will enjoy for years to come. This whole thing was and continues to be an incredible experience, and I extend to you my utmost gratitude!

"While writing you, I am listening to your restoration of a sixty year old recording that sounds as fresh as the day it was made! You have done a marvelous job on a very difficult project. You do wonderful work, and I heartily endorse your efforts!"

78RPM Choir Recordings-Audio Restoration

Dear Stu, while writing you, I am listening to your restoration of a sixty year old recording that sounds as fresh as the day it was made! These once young voices sing again, and my husband who sang tenor in the Hamline University Choir plays the CD over and over!! You have done a marvelous job on a very difficult project. I'm also looking forward to the release of the Augsburg Choir restorations, which I believe will happen this spring.

With the rich choral and musical tradition of the Midwest, it seems to me that many schools, churches and orchestral groups would welcome the opportunity to have you preserve their musical treasures. So many alums, like my husband, would certainly want to have them. These groups would do well to explore your recording expertise for their current projects too!!

You do wonderful work, and I heartily endorse your efforts! Feel free to use my name, and best wishes for your continued success.

"I have had a lot of fun working with you on some of the best sessions I have ever worked on. You are truly an awesome musician and producer."

Studio Recording & Production

Dear Stu, I just wanted to say thanks for all of your business this year. I have had a lot of fun working with you on some of the best sessions I have ever worked on over the 45 years I've had my studio. You are truly an awesome musician and producer, and I want to wish you and your family the very best for 2010. Again, thanks!

"Two things that really stand out in my mind are the sound quality of the recordings and the timely manner in which the CDs were completed. Having been teaching for 23 years,
I have had my groups recorded many times. Your recordings are the only ones throughout the years that are of the highest caliber, and you have done a superb job of capturing the true band sound!"

Symphonic Band Recording-Mastering-Quality Comparisons

Dear Stu, I would like to take a minute to let you and other potential clients of Worldwide Music Network know what a fabulous job you did on the live recordings of the Champlin Park High School Symphonic Band. Both the April 4th and May 16th recordings met and exceeded my expectations.

The two things that really stand out in my mind are the sound quality of the recordings and the timely manner in which the master CDs were completed. Having been teaching for 23 years, I have had my groups professionally recorded many times. The biggest disappointment in this process has been capturing the true ensemble sound. Your recordings are the only ones throughout the years that are of the highest caliber, and you have done a superb job of capturing the true band sound!

While I don't profess to know much about mixing and editing a finished CD, I do know that it is a tedious and time consuming process. Your turn around time on both recordings was very fast, and I know that my students, parents, and staff members are most appreciative. I also appreciate your flexibility in meeting our particular needs. We were not sold a recording package that contained things we were not interested in. We were able to dictate exactly what we wanted and were not charged for things we did not need.

By the way, we recently submitted the recording you made of our spring concert to the International Baccalaureate Examiners across the entire world, based on where our IB students were to be tested. Our band scored a 7 out of 7, which is like getting a near perfect score on the SAT test. It is amazing that they scored this high the first year we were in the IB program. I am convinced that the high quality recording played a large part of that score. Good programming and hopefully a high degree of musical proficiency were evident as well. Thanks for your part in helping us achieve such extraordinary results!

We will always enjoy the quality of these recordings, and I would encourage other music educators to retain your services to get the very best recordings of their groups possible.

Steve Lyons / Band Director - Champlin, MN

"This was a one-time expense that will bring me a lot of enjoyment for many years, and in my opinion, there is a real value in that."

Daisy Dillman Band Albums-Professional Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Quality & Cost Comparisons

Hey Stu: I have to tell you that the CDs you created from my two Daisy Dillman Band LPs are absolutely incredible! I bought these albums back when they first came out more than 25-30 years ago, and what I sent you wasn't exactly in the very best condition. Whatever you did to clean up the record noise, tweak the sound, and as you call it, "optimize" the disc output, was just amazing! I can't imagine there are many services around who can produce something comparable, let alone anything that would surpass the quality of your work. It is really top-notch!!

I read about your services when I saw that interesting article in the Star Tribune, and since your company was featured as a service that actually restores recordings, I called you almost immediately. As I said when I first talked to you, I had previously gone to a couple other local operations who transfer records and tapes to CD, incuding two recording studios and two video transfer services. I also took a shot at going through a TV-stereo-computer repair company I found in the Yellow Pages, who told me they outsource all their transfer requests. At $30.00 to $40.00 per LP their fees were not a problem, but I found out that all these people do is copy records right onto a disc, nothing more.

What I was really looking for was someone who had the capability of removing record noise and improving sound quality. None of the places I called said they were able to do that, and every single one of them told me they didn't know of anyone who could. I found that hard to believe, but I wanted my albums on CD so I could listen to them. What I got were CDs that still contained all the original record noise, and had volume levels that were all over the place. Some of the CDs didn't have numbered tracks, so when I played those discs I couldn't select songs and had to listen to one entire side of an album at a time. I wasn't thrilled, but that is what I had to settle for until I found you through the newspaper article.

Listening to the CDs you made from my records, I couldn't find one single problem with any of them and was really pleased with your work. People should be aware that you really don't get a whole lot for the "going rate," but that you CAN get something better if that's what you really want. It obviously requires a lot more time, equipment and technical knowledge to get the kind of finished product that you create, and that justifies the higher cost.

Since I grew up here in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, I was pretty familiar with the local music scene. I thought it was exciting to find out that you were one of the original members of the very popular "Chameleon" rock group that was around during the same time period as the "Daisy Dillman Band". Your band was awesome, so it came as no surprise that if you were involved with a group who was that talented and successful, you would now offer a high quality music-related service.

The money I paid to have you transfer my albums to CD with what I feel is the ultimate in sound quality was money well spent. I can listen to them without being distracted by record noise and inconsistent volume levels, or frustrated by not being able to access the songs I want to hear. This was a one-time expense that will bring me a lot of enjoyment for many years, and in my opinion, there is a real value in that.

It seems to be true that most people don't know enough about music transfer services to have a grasp on what they get for their money. If you just want something cheap there are plenty of places to get this done, but if you want professional quality you have to really search to find the right service and be willing to pay for it. I'm glad that I eventually discovered your services and had the opportunity to use them, and disappointed that I wasted money on CD transfers that weren't very good. I should go back and ask these other companies why they were reluctant to tell me about you, but I think I already know the answer.

You really do a great job, and I will always recommend you to anyone who is interested in having CDs made from their old records and insists on getting it done right!

"Words cannot describe how ecstatic I am after playing the CD with the recording you restored for me. The sound quality and playback levels you were able to produce are amazing!"

LP Audio Restoration & CD Transfer

Hi Stu, much to my delight, I received my LP/CD package in yesterday's mail. Words cannot describe how ecstatic I am after playing the CD with the recording you restored for me. The sound quality and playback levels you were able to produce are amazing!

While not a pure audiophile, I like to think of myself as just one notch below, and am very satisfied with the work you have done for me. To think that before finding you on the Web, I was resigned to the fact that I was going to have to settle for the services of someone who would simply transfer my entire record album to a CD without separating the songs with track markers or restoring the sound quality. I am so glad I found you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I will hang onto your brochure and will be happy to promote your services to anyone who will stand still long enough to listen. And I will certainly keep you in mind for my next project.

"Just listened to my CD, terrific job! I can see and hear now why you are so proud of your technology. It is amazing that you can get that kind of depth and aliveness out of a 50-year old vinyl record!!"

LP Audio Restoration & CD Transfers

Just listened to my CD, terrific job! Sensational! It's very clean sounding, it has balance, depth, prescience, everything! The big band stuff is particularly good, almost like modern day stereo recordings.

I can see and hear now why you are so proud of your technology. It is amazing that you can get that kind of depth and aliveness out of a 50-year old vinyl record! Really amazing stuff! Thanks, as always!

"Thank you SO MUCH for assisting me with my request to find and obtain a CD with the full version of the Flowerpot Men "Beat City" recording from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". No one else has the song, no one else can find it anywhere! The price tag and copyright restrictions were a consideration, but I feel it was worth it."

Flowerpot Men "Beat City"-Music Search-CD Transfer

Dear Stu & Worldwide Music Network: Thank you SO MUCH for assisting me with my request to find and obtain a CD with the full version of the Flowerpot Men "Beat City" recording from the "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" movie. I had unsuccessfully searched on and off the internet for this song for nearly 20 years, and can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate the incredible service you provided in helping me in this quest.

I thought it was funny when you told me about the thousands of people who have contacted you about this very recording, and are reportedly "foaming at the mouth" to get their hands on it. I will agree with that characterization, because I have had exchanges with many people over the years about this song and it's lack of availaibility, and admit that I was one of those people. No one else has the song, no one else can find it anywhere!

The price tag and copyright restrictions I had to comply with to get this recording were a consideration, but I feel it was worth it. There was no other way to achieve my goal, and as I have always believed that you sometimes have no choice but to pay to get what you want, I made the decision to go ahead with this and have no regrets whatsoever. I have no intentions of sharing this recording with anyone else, partly because I do not want any trouble if I were to breach the non-reproduction agreement, but since I'm also a bit selfish, I revel in the fact that I possess something that so many people want, but that very few people in the world have. That adds to the excitement of owning and listening to this exceptionally rare piece of 80s music.

Thank you again for all of your help and the superb quality of your services (the CD really sounds great!). I am truly appreciative of the fact that you were both able and willing to do this for me. Kindest regards and best wishes to you and your company!!

John C. - Santa Monica, CA

"You did a restoration of a recorded interview I did during my days with the Dodgers. You did a great job and were a pleasure to work with. I just received CDs you made of family gatherings we taped back in the '50s and '60s. Once again you did a fine job! These needed to be preserved, and you have contributed mightily to that cause."

Reel-To-Reel Audio Tape & LP Restoration-CD Transfer

Hi Stu, you did a restoration for me several years ago, of a recorded interview I did with Tommy Lasorda during my early days with the Dodgers. You did a great job and were a pleasure to work with, so I kept your information for future reference.

I have just received the CDs you made from several reel-to-reel recordings of various family gatherings we taped back in the '50s and '60s. Once again you did a fine job! These are a very important part of my family history that needed to be preserved, and you have contributed mightily to that cause. I have given copies of the CDs to my brother and sister, to whom these also have a great deal of meaning.

Thanks again for your always spectacular work!

Wes Parker (Los Angeles Dodgers 1964-1972) - Pacific Palisades, CA

"I just had to let you know how impressed I am with your services! When I first called, I was only looking to have a tape transfered to a CD. I had no thoughts about the possibility that anything could be done to improve the sound quality, until you took time to explain about all the different services you provide. The CD is so much clearer than the original tape, and I noticed that a lot of the background noises are gone. I will be calling National Camera to tell them how pleased I am with your services, and how much I appreciate that they referred you. "

Cassette Audio Restoration-CD Transfer-Quality & Customer Service

Good morning, Stu. Right now I am listening for the third time to the CD you made for me from my 30-year old, homemade cassette tape, and I just had to write to let you know how impressed I am with your services!

You came highly recommended by the National Camera store in Maple Grove, and when I first called you, I was only looking to have this tape transfered to a CD. I had no ideas or thoughts about the possibility that anything could be done to also improve the sound quality, until you took the time and initiative to explain about all the different services you provide. The information was presented well and in a friendly manner, and your concern that I fully understood how you work and how these additional services could be of benefit to me was obvious and also very helpful. I appreciate the non-pressure way you do business, and the way you educate and show respect for your customers, especially potential new customers. Being in business myself, this is something I recognize.

I, of all people, know how old these tapes are and how poorly they were made, because I recorded them myself in a friend's living room back in the '70s, on a cheap portable cassette machine. The sound on the CD is so much clearer than the original tape, and I noticed that a lot of the hiss and other background noises are gone. It is also nice to have access to individual songs on the CD provided by your numerical indexing process, something you explained is not done by services who only do basic transfers.

I will be calling National Camera to tell them how pleased I am with your services, and how much I appreciate that they referred you. I will pass your information on at every opportunity, and will not hesitate to call whenever I have more work for you. Have a wonderful holiday!

Kathy P. - Andover, MN

"I was a big fan of the Twin Cities music scene back in the 70's and 80's, and also a collector of albums and CDs that were recorded by the more popular groups in the area. I have to tell you again that the sound quality of each CD you created after removing all the record noise was as good or maybe even better than if these albums had been regenerated by a licensed record company."

Chameleon-Daisy Dillman Band Albums-Professional Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Quality & Cost

I don't know where to begin in thanking you for the incredible work you did in remastering my old record albums to CD. The sound on each one is absolutely perfect!

I was a big fan of the Twin Cities music scene back in the 70's and 80's, and also a collector of albums and CDs by the more popular groups in the area. I put together quite a tidy collection of LPs and CDs from regional stars such as Cain; Fairchild; Jesse Brady; Chameleon; Dare Force; Metro All-Stars; This Oneness; Daisy Dillman Band; Judd Group; Suburbs; Limited Warranty; and many of the "Prince-related" R&B groups like The Time; Jesse Johnson; Andre Cymone; Vanity 6; Apollonia 6; Sue Ann Carwell; etc., and the list goes on. Many of those albums were played to death back then, and let's just say that some of them lost their luster over the years.

Since I started buying CDs twenty years ago, I have always searched and called around, hoping that someone would take the initiative to remarket these albums on CD, but no dice. At one point I decided to copy some of my albums to cassette, so I could listen to them at home and in my car, and without the records becoming any more worn out than they already were. When I tried to replace some of the LPs, it was nearly impossible to find them, especially in decent shape.

I went online and Googled a few names of the groups I mentioned, and your site popped right up. I was thrilled by the thought that Worldwide Music Network had reissued all these albums on CD and had them available for sale, but when I emailed to inquire about them, you pointed out my misconception and asked me to phone. I was impressed with the way you explained everything about your services, and also that you had played bass with "Chameleon" at one time. That piqued my interest further and instilled a measure of trust, but when you brought up issues regarding copyright laws and went over your non-reproduction agreement to protect the rights of your fellow musicians, I also knew that you weren't just burning copies of these recordings out of your basement. Some people may not consider that important, but I did.

I have to tell you again that the sound quality after removing all the record noise was as good or maybe even better than if these albums had been regenerated by a licensed record company. Even the albums I thought were just a few plays away from becoming frisbies came out sounding like they were in mint condition. I don't know how you do it, but you are definitely an expert in your line of work.

I have some friends that I still see, who hung out with me every weekend when I used to go out to see all these awesome local groups. When I told them about this, the very first thing they did was ask to borrow the CDs so they could copy them. The answer was no. My friends then offered money to help defray some of the expense that I incurred, and I still said no. Unlike some people, I have a great deal of respect for the creative talent of the musicians. I also respect your unique talents and skills, and all of the time and effort that you put into doing this for me. My feeling is that if anyone else wants what I now have, they can come up with the records and pay for the work just like I did.

My buddies tried to make me feel guilty for spending an average of more than than $400.00 each to get these done, telling me they thought I was crazy. Maybe I am, maybe I'm not, but life is short, I had the money to spend, and it was all worth it to me. Thanks again!!

"After using your services for 10 years, you still do great work! I have now listened to all of the twenty or so CDs you just did for me.... Fantastic! The CDs are so clean, I can actually hear the absence of the usual crap that's in the background on most vinyl transfers! Excellent sound and the album artwork is absolutely perfect!"

Rockets-Buckingham Nicks-Phantom Rocker & Slick-Bob Seger Albums-Professional Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Cover Art-Quality & Service

Stu, after using your service for 10 years, you still do great work as always! I have now listened to all of the twenty or so CDs you just did for me. Fantastic! The two Phantom, Rocker & Slick and all three of the Rockets CDs are so clean, I can actually hear the absence of the usual crap that's in the background on most vinyl transfers! The Jon Butcher Axis and Buckingham-Nicks albums, in particular, really explode right off the discs, and the Robin Lane & The Chartbusters discs as well. Excellent sound on each CD, and the album artwork is absolutely perfect!

Your "enhancement" process brings some instruments to the forefront, and makes for great sound. The Jim Carroll Band CD sounded almost as if a different producer got the masters and made an alternate "updated" version of the record. This one is a power pop masterpiece, I really love it!

I also really like the Bob Seger "Back In '72" CD, it is totally clean and sounds great! And by the way, these discs are LOUD and have a lot of output compared to my stock CDs! I have to readjust the volume some on my stereo, but even with those levels there isn't any distortion whatsoever. Very nice work!

Thanks again for all your hard work. These discs look and sound great! There will be more projects and reviews to follow.... look for me again in 2009!

Blanket Of Secrecy Album-Professional Audio Restoration-Special Editing Services

Stu, I received my CDs today and just got done listening to them. What can I say? Fantastic!! "Say You Will" from the Blanket Of Secrecy album that was never issued on CD sounds so perfect you wouldn't know that it was done from a vinyl record. And the special edit you did to combine the two tracks from my "Chicago II" CD is so unbelievably smooth, you would never guess that it wasn't originally recorded like that right in the studio. I listened to the CDs with headphones, and couldn't find even a minor flaw anywhere.

I can't believe how good everything sounds, just like I used to hear it on the radio, but far better! The CDs are absolutely great! They sound crisp and clean, and a great job was done on virtually everything. Thanks!!

"I have had a chance to listen to and enjoy the seven Hollyridge Strings albums you mastered for me. They sound great, awesome may be a better word, and I wanted to thank you for doing such a wonderful job! These albums have had a lot of meaning for me, and it is great to be able to hear them again after so many years and with such excellent sound quality!"

Hollyridge Strings Albums-Professional Audio Restoration-CD Transfers

Hi Stu, I am still cleaning up and getting things back to normal after the flood we recently had down here in Texas, but I have had a chance to listen to and enjoy the seven Hollyridge Strings albums you mastered for me. They sound great, awesome may be a better word, and I wanted to thank you for doing such a wonderful job! These albums have had a lot of meaning for me, and it is great to be able to hear them again after so many years and with such excellent sound quality!

As I listened to the CDs, I could not hear anything that would not be considered part of the original recording, and I was also pleased to see how "clean" they were physically. I am very fussy about my music and movie collections, and I think it's a shame how so many people leave fingerprints, food residue and scratches on their discs.

My wife is 14 years younger than me and grew up in a different era, but she enjoys this music as much as I do. Thanks to your work we will enjoy these for a lot of years, and I won't lose the CDs like I did the original LPs I once had.

Thanks for a job WELL DONE!!

Reel-To-Reel Audio Restoration-CD Transfer

Stu, I finally found a chance to play the CD you made from the reel-to-reel tape I sent of my high school band, which was recorded 50 years ago. You did a fabulous job, it really sounds great! It was so much fun listening to my band after so many years, and I'm sure my fellow band members will enjoy it too when I play it for them at our Class Of '57 reunion next weekend. Thanks again!

"I work for an organization and was given the task of searching for someone to digitize and transfer old 78s to CD. I started calling around, but it wasn't until I spoke with Stu at Worldwide Music Network that I found someone who really knew what he was talking about. He went through an explanation and always answered my questions without making me feel out of place. This kind of professionalism is hard to find nowadays. My boss and I listened to the finished CDs and were very pleased."

78RPM Audio Restoration-CD Transfer-Customer Service

I work for an organization in downtown Los Angeles, and recently stumbled upon an album of 78rpm records that were made in the mid-1940s. There wasn't much information as to what was on the records or how we were affiliated with them, but through a bit of research I was able to make an educated guess as to what they were. As it turned out, they were transcriptions of a series of radio broadcasts made during World War II. Once that was established, I was given the task of searching for someone to digitize and transfer these old 78s to CD.

My boss gave me a list of companies who provide these services, and I started calling around and spoke with many different personalities. But it wasn't until I spoke with Stu at Worldwide Music Network that I found someone who really knew what he was talking about. Stu took his time to explain everything to me in terms I was able to understand, and he came across as genuinely interested in the material I believed was recorded on these albums. He went through an explanation of the step-by-step process he uses in cleaning up the noise and refining the sound, and he always made sure that I understood how everything would all come together. Most importantly, Stu always answered my questions without making me feel out of place. That boosted my confidence and made it clear who I would choose to work on my organization's project.

This kind of professionalism is hard to find nowadays, and I really appreciated how I was included in the process, such as receiving updates on how everything was moving along with the restoration though final completion. After receiving everything back, my boss and I listened to the finished CDs and were very pleased. I highly recommend Worldwide Music Network, and look forward to having Stu work on our next projects!

"You really know what you're doing! I never dreamed a record transfer could sound so good. I could actually hear every instrument as it was meant to sound. There was no dullness or muffled, distorted sound like I have received from other so called "vinyl to CD transfer specialists." Thanks for your passion in helping others with their passion for music!

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfer-Quality Comparison

Hi Stu! I received my CD last Thursday, and was just taking some time to enjoy the music. You were right, you really know what you're doing! I never dreamed a record transfer could sound so good. I must admit that when I first put the CD in my car changer, I was very hesitant. I sat there waiting to be disappointed, but the first song came on sounding so clear and strong, and the quality was consistent all throughout the CD. I could actually hear every instrument as it was meant to sound. There was no dullness or muffled, distorted sound like I have received from other so called "vinyl to CD transfer specialists."

I used your basic restoration level, and to the average listener, this inital service would be perfect. But since I know these songs inside and out, I can detect a few things that I would like to have further improved, and will want to upgrade this album sometime in the future. I am also interested in having some 45's restored and transferred too, and you will definitely be getting more business from me. My next major purchase is an iPhone, so it will be a month or so before I have the extra money to indulge in my music again. But don't worry, I'll be back! And oh yeah, thanks for the front LP cover art you threw in. You definitely excel in that department as well! The printing on that high quality photo paper makes quite a difference.

Thanks for your passion in helping others with their passion for music!

"Mom and Dad were absolutely thrilled and happy to hear the CDs you made from the 1957 recording of their wedding ceremony. It brought tears to Mom's eyes as soon as the recording started to play. Reel-To-Reel Audio Restoration-CD Transfer

Hi Stu - Mom and Dad were absolutely thrilled and happy to hear the CDs you made from the 1957 recording of their wedding ceremony. This was a gift from me and my siblings for their 50th anniversary, and we surprised them with it during the anniversary dinner on Sunday. It brought tears to Mom's eyes as soon as the recording started to play.

You came highly recommended by National Camera stores, and I contacted you because we really wanted to get this project done right. I was not at all expecting to have this done in time for the anniversary party, but you were very expedient in completing your work, and I thank you for your timely response. I also appreciate that you made us CD copies of the original recording as it sounds right off the tape. Mom has had a chance to listen to most of the restored recording and also to the original, and she says she can certainly tell the difference.

Again, thank you. The work you do is really something - it's priceless!

"I wanted to get my rare 45s converted to digital format, but having used other similar services, I must admit that I was still skeptical, even after readng some of the testimonials. I decided to send thirty of my records for processing. I got them all back within just a week, and I was amazed to find that the songs all sounded incredible! I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone who is not only interested in having their records converted to digital, but who wishes to bring out the full sound potential of their recordings."

45RPM Singles Restoration-CD Transfers-Quality

I am a collector of music from the '70s and '80s, some of which is quite hard-to-find and only available on vinyl. I wanted for some time to get my rare 45s converted to digital format, for longevity and possible optimization of sound quality. I found Worldwide Music Network on the internet, but having used other similar services, I must admit that I was still skeptical, even after readng some of the testimonials posted on their website. But, I was very excited about the possibility, seeing as how most of these 45s will likely NEVER be released on CD.

I called Stu at Worldwide Music Network to get more information, and he spent a lot of his valuable time explaining the entire process, various options and cost, logistics, etc. After our discussion I felt extremely comfortable and confident in using his company's services, and decided to send thirty of my records for processing. I got them all back within just a week, and I was amazed to find that the songs all sounded incredible! My 45s are in excellent condition, but they still contained a degree of background noise. Listening to the CDs, I could hear that he was able to remove virtually ALL of the noise, and that he achieved a much fuller and more clear sound through his optimization method. The songs sounded much better than I thought would ever be possible, and now I have permanent digital copies that are NOT on vinyl.

Stu was so great to work with before, during and after the first project, that I immediately sent him another dozen of my 45s to work on. I was just as pleased with the quality of those songs. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone who is not only interested in having their vinyl records converted to digital, but who wishes to bring out the full sound potential of their recordings. Thanks again, Stu!

"You did a marvelous job restoring each and every track from the vinyl 45s and LPs I provided, and the editing you did to recreate the single versions from album cuts was perfect. I couldn't find one imperfection in any of the 48 songs you restored or edited, and I am extremely pleased with your work."

LP & 45RPM Audio Restoration- Editing-Custom Compilation CDs-Quality & Cost Comparisons

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the superb work you did on the three custom compilation CDs you recently did for me. As a collector of American Top 100 hits, I have made a significant effort over the past 20 years to gather on CD all the tunes I've wanted to complete my library, but many are still unavailable. In the case of this project, all but three songs were never issued on CD, and the few that I did have on CD are not the hit single versions I want.

You did a marvelous job restoring each and every track from the vinyl 45s and LPs I provided, and the editing you did to recreate the single versions from album cuts was perfect. I couldn't find one imperfection in any of the 48 songs you restored or edited, and I am extremely pleased with your work.

I had previously sent some of these records to two other custom disc services to be restored, both who have strong exposure on the internet or in collectors magazines. Unfortunately, I was not in either case all that impressed with the results. Some of these services talk a good game, but when it comes to the end product, they fall quite short of the mark.

I not only applaud you for the comparative quality of your work, but I give you a lot of credit for the bold stance you take in addressing the issue of the increasing number of amateurs and hobbyists who are trying to make a fast buck on the side with "off-the-shelf" consumer technology. In addition to what I myself have experienced, I can see how people are easily misled and misinformed, because there are tons of record transfer services to be found, and few seem to give accurate information about their abilities.

I have yet to acquire the records that are missing from my collection, and if I cannot find them on my own, I would also consider engaging you to locate them for me. I already know how good you are at music recording, restoration and editing, and I would expect your record detective services to be equally as effective. In the meantime, thank you again for your work on my most recent and valued project. I will be in contact soon.

Hello. I just received the Lushus Daim & The Pretty Vain "More Than You Can Handle" CD this morning and had a quick listen. I am very impressed with the quality, and will listen to it on the Hi-Fi system later on in the day... it's much too early now.

I'm more than happy with the product you created for me, and have already given consideration to other albums (soundtracks) that I would be interested in having you do for me in the near future. Thanks very much for your service.

"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing services that indisputably helped make our 20-year, Class of 1986 High School Reunion a very unique and extraordinary event. Although we initially struggled with the cost to have you assist us with the special pieces of music we needed, we unanimously agree that it was well worth the investment."

Class Reunion CDs-Rare Music

Dear Stu: On behalf of myself and the planning committee, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing services that indisputably helped make our 20-year, Class Of 1986 High School Reunion a very unique and extraordinary event. Although we initially struggled with the cost to have you assist us with the special pieces of music we needed, we unanimously agree that it was well worth the investment.

Three songs that were of particular importance to us were "Angel In My Pocket" by the group, One On One, "Beat City" from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and "Back To School", which is the Jude Cole recording we chose for the theme of our event (from the Rodney Dangerfield movie of the same name). We made a list of a couple dozen very memorable "80's tunes" that we wanted to have played at the reunion, but we had no idea that a lot of these songs would be impossible to find or purchase anywhere, until our committee "music experts" conducted their exhaustive searches. Fortunately, they found you, and were steered in your direction by learning that you had apparently helped other customers with some of these same recordings.

What we spent on the two CDs exceeded what it cost to hire our deejay for the night, who didn't have and couldn't find these rare songs either. Our reunion would still have been a big success without the additional music, but it would not have had the same flair. No one else could have helped us pull this off, and thanks to your fundraising suggestions and budgeting a bit more into the ticket price, this was very doable!

We have received numerous responses from classmates praising us for the job we did in organizing our gathering, especially regarding the music. In fact, we have been asked by many to sell CD copies of these songs, which of course we will not do. The Class of 1987 is starting to plan for next year, and "highly inspired" members of their committee who attended our reunion have eagerly offered to pay us to use the CDs. Even the deejay's eyes lit up when I handed him the discs at the beginning of the evening. Afterwards, he begged to borrow them so he could add the content to his library. I have had to politely tell everyone "NO." The CDs are in my possession and will be kept in a safe deposit box until our next event in five years.

Stu, you offer a very valuable service, and you are also great to work with. You know your business and your music, you are very accomodating, and you leave no stone unturned. Thanks once again for making several hundred people so happy, and you can be assured that we will go out of our way to pass your information on to others.

Audio Tape Restoration-CD Transfer

Hi Stu, I received the package today, Thank you! The CD you made from my dad's taped interview of my grandfather retelling his experiences during World War I, is fantastic! I am very impressed with the sound quality of the recording, and I can't tell you how much it means to us to have grandpa's and dad's voices preserved in this way.

The tape is very old and fragile, and we were reluctant to even play it ourselves. We were afraid that the tape might break and the recording would be lost forever, so we decided to wait and leave it in the hands of a professional who had the right equipment. We are very grateful for the effort you made to preserve this old recording of their voices. Merry Christmas, and thanks for making ours very special with your work.

"This note is to tell you how utterly amazed I am at how effective your services are. This record was made back in the late-30s or early-40s, and it was not only a wonderfully nostalgic trip back to childhood to hear these songs after so many years, but you did a fantastic job getting rid of all the noise. I did not flinch at the proposed total cost of $150.00-200.00, and after receiving both the record and CD and listening to the two songs on the disc, I must say that my brother and I are delighted beyond words!"

Music Search-78 RPM Record Audio Restoration-CD Transfer

This note is to tell you how utterly amazed I am at how effective your services are. I am a man in my late 60s with a brother who is in his 70s. During a recent family gathering, my brother Dave and I reminisced and recalled an old novelty recording from our childhood that our father used to play on the Victrola, one which we had long since forgotten. This record was made back in the late-30s or early-40s, and unfortunately, the 78 that Dad used to have was probably lost or discarded many decades ago.

Since it is very obscure, we had no idea how to go about finding this recording, other than to try phoning some record shops. No one I spoke to knew anything about it, and I was starting to feel completely lost until your company was recommended by a vintage record dealer in New York City who could not help me directly. I didn't really expect you to be familiar with the record either, or that you would ever have any success in finding it. But I elected to engage your services anyway, and was flabbergasted when you called a couple months later to tell me that you actually found the 78.

That was pleasing enough to hear, but then when you told me you could also remove the record noise on your computer and get the recording onto a CD or cassette for us, I was exceptionally happy. I did not flinch at the proposed total cost of $150.00-200.00, and after receiving both the record and CD and listening to the two songs on the disc, I must say that my brother and I are delighted beyond words! It was not only a wonderfully nostalgic trip back to childhood to hear these songs after so many years, but you did a fantastic job getting rid of all the noise.

I don't have any means of playing an old 78, so I would never have known the difference between what it would sound like compared to the CD you made, if you hadn't taken the initiative to add the original untouched recordings as they were taken right off the record. Dave and I had to laugh at all of the loud pops and other noise blasting throughout the duration of the songs. With all the snap, crackle and pop practically drowning out the music, we joked that it sounded like a USO performance going on in the middle of World War II. On the other hand, the same songs contained absolutely NONE of that noise after you finished working on them, which made them very pleasurable to listen to. The tunes sounded just the way they were originally meant to.... like OLD OLD recordings, only without all the "gunfire!"

My brother Dave and I both want to sincerely thank you for your invaluable help with this request, and for providing a combination of services that are certainly worthy of praise. Our very best wishes to you and your staff!!

"Thank you so much for your marvelous work on the Jonathan Livingston Seagull CD. The quality of your CD recreation from my vinyl record album is absolutely perfect, with very crisp sound and not one detectable bit of reord noise. Simply brilliant!

Jonathan Livingston Seagull Album-Professional Audio Restoration & CD Transfer-Quality Comparisons

Thank you so much for your marvelous work on the Jonathan Livingston Seagull CD. I have looked for this recording on CD for many years, but learned that it has never been available. The quality of your CD recreation from my vinyl record album is absolutely perfect, with very crisp sound and not one detectable bit of record noise. Simply brilliant! I was reluctant at first to send my rare album overseas, but am very happy now that I made the decision to proceed.

I have a friend who had her copy of this record transferred to CD by a professional service here in the UK, but the quality is not nearly the same. Lydia listened to mine when she visited the other day, and she kept saying that she couldn't believe how good my disc sounded. My friend enquired as to where I had mine done and how much I paid, and although she was somewhat taken aback by the cost and that I had posted my record all the way to America to have it converted, she did admit that it was probably worth it and asked me to write down your contact information. You may be hearing from her soon.

You provide a wonderful service for people who can appreciate it and are willing to spend the money. I may have other similar requests for you in the future, and will be happy to spread the word. Thank you again for all your efforts.

"I understand that this type of work is not easy, and from doing my research, not everyone who does music transfers is even able to provide some of these services at all, let alone do it very proficiently or completely. I am very pleased, and assure there will be more work for you in the future."

iPod Transfer Services-Custom DVD Audio--LP Audio Restoration

Stu, thank you for the absolutely superb job you did in restoring the fourteen record albums I sent, and creating those marvelous high resolution DVD-Audio discs. I also want to thank you for all the time and labor you put into cataloging, converting and loading the remastered LP recordings and my 480 CDs onto my iPod. The sound reproduction of the LP files is literally as good or even better than many of the recordings that were converted from my CD collection.

I understand that this type of work is not easy, and from doing my research, not everyone who does music transfers is even able to provide some of these services at all, let alone do it very proficiently or completely (i.e. DVD-Audio and LP-to-iPod). I know that what you do requires a lot of time and expertise. In addition to the exceptional quality of your restoration of my vinyl albums, your method of categorizing and inputting album and track information was very thorough, and makes each title easily accessible when using my iPod. It's great!

As I spent a lot of time shopping around for record and iPod transfer companies, I discovered that no one else offers this combination of services. When visiting various sites, I also found that most do not at all make themselves available to talk to customers or answer questions directly. Being able to phone and speak with an actual person helped me understand all that was involved, to put cost and other things into better perspective, and quite honestly, it made me feel far more confident than just sending my stuff to a service that only communicates by email or has an FAQ page. You are quite knowledgable and also very personable, and after my conversation with you, there was little if any question as to whether I was going to do business with you.

Being a professional in marketing, I can really see why you have difficulty in getting your message across to some people. Cheap software and easy access has plastered the internet with file sharing and transfer services of all kinds. Your services are for the "thinking" type of individual who not only wants quality and has the ability to pay for it, but who is also able and willing to spend time sorting through the morass of generic info and hype. I highly recommend that you remain vigilant and stand firm in your effort to promote quality and integrity over low prices and high volume. There are a lot of people out there who share my point of view, and they will eventually come to you when they realize how uncommonly special your services really are. I am very pleased, and assure there will be more work for you in the future.

Stu, I want to say thank-you! The restoration work you did on the two Fairchild albums was FABULOUS! My birthday was last week, and this is the best present a girl could ask for! It is still unbelievable that I am able to enjoy this music all over again - it's simply wonderful.

I have played the CDs on our Bose system at home and also in my car. What you did was incredible, and I am simply thrilled. You have a wonderful talent, and I appreciate your professionalism, your attention to detail, and the passion you have for what you do.

Thanks again, Stu. It has really been a pleasure working with you, and I will pass on your brochures to some colleagues here in Rochester as well. Take care.

"Like many of your other clients, I've used other record transfer services whose fees are much lower than yours. Not everyone may be as picky as I am, but there really is a noticeable difference. For people who are able to distinguish the difference, you do set yourself apart from everything else that is out there."

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Customer Service-Quality & Cost Comparisons

Hello Stu: I know that my feedback here may seem redundant, because my experiences in working with you and my sentiments about your services are exactly the same as your other customers. But as much as I hate to sound as if I am copying their letters of praise, the truth is that I am equally happy with the work you did on the CDs you made from the LPs I sent, and I could not be more pleased.

Like many of your other clients, I've used other record transfer services whose fees are much lower than yours, and just as your other customers say, some of the CDs I had done elsewhere were good, but not in the same league. Not everyone may be as picky as I am, but there really is a noticeable difference. Whatever methods you use in doing your work, you also got my CDs done much more quickly than any of the other services, and you did not in the least sacrifice any quality. I also appreciate the time you took to explain everything to me in the beginning, so I could understand your process, how you structure your fees, and what my options would be. No one else offered such in-depth information or so many choices, the other services all pretty much said the same thing... that they were the best at what they do, then quoted me a price.

I would not think twice about using your services again, or recommending them to anybody. You really are well worth what you charge, and for people who are able to distinguish the difference, you do set yourself apart from everything else that is out there. Thanks again!!

78 RPM Record Audio Restoration-CD Transfers

First off, thanks for a GREAT restoration job on that pre-grooved 78 RPM record I sent you, which was made back in 1934. Considering the very crude technology that was used to create this disc (by today's standards), the extremely low modulation level, the damage that had been done to the disc by the playback needles of close to 70 years ago (more like cutting scribes than anything else!), and the outrageous amount of surface noise inherent in all "home recording" blanks of that era, your finished product was nothing short of MIRACULOUS!! What a treat for me and my family to hear what my father sounded like at the ripe old age of 18!

As we previously discussed, I had another potential project for you to do, but wanted to see how the first one would turn out. Since I was so pleased, I have enclosed another disc for restoration and CD transfer. This one is in better shape than the last one, and is not of a pre-grooved variety. This record was cut with a Presto K-8 lathe on a standard acetate blank, circa 1953. Thus, the surface noise should hopefully present much less a problem for you this time.

I have enclosed my check along with the disc, and will call in a few days to confirm delivery to you. Thanks again, and best regards!

Steve Miller Band Albums-Professional Audio Restoration-CD Transfers

Stu, you are a true magician. You did a fantastic job on the Spencer Davis & Peter Jameson album, and the Steve Miller Band's "Recall The Beginning" and "Rock Love" CDs sound like they were meant to... clear, crisp, and warm too. Those albums meant a lot to me, and it's great to hear them fully restored.

You have the best ears in the business, and you should be remastering CDs for the major labels if you aren't already. I can't thank you enough. I will definitely keep in touch, and will be happy to pass the word along.

"The quality of your work is absolutely impeccable, and is every bit as good as you claim... if not better. Secondly, you are very knowledgable about your craft, and your honesty, integrity and experience all come through loud and clear in the way you dispense information in sensible and understandable terms. Your services are not cheap, but they are definitely affordable, and well worth the effort and the cost."

Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Customer Service-Quality & Cost Comparisons

I would like to offer a few comments about the services of Worldwide Music Network. First of all, the quality of your work is absolutely impeccable, and is every bit as good as you claim... if not better. Secondly, you are very knowledgable about your craft, and your honesty, integrity and experience all come through loud and clear in the way you dispense information in sensible and understandable terms.

Third, your customer service is terrific, and you are to be highly commended for how respectfully you treat your clients and their questions, and how you "deliver the goods" in a very timely manner. Customer service has all but completely disappeared in the business world, so this is something that should not go unrecognized.

Lastly, I wholeheartedly respect that you do not apologize for charging professional fees for professional grade work. You were very forthcoming in explaining to me how some people, including those who are more than financially capable, will go elsewhere and accept second-grade or even very inferior quality work, just because they don't see the point in spending money on your type of service. Apparently some folks do not have the understanding, appreciation, or interest in the difference. There is an overabundance of transfer services around to choose from, and I can state from my own experiences that you do not get much for $20.00-$30.00, or something that is comparable even for $50.00-$100.00. Your services are not cheap, but they are definitely affordable, and well worth the effort and the cost.

You run a first-class operation you can be proud of, and it is very commendable that you have managed to stay in business despite the saturation of your market. I thank you for the wonderful job you did for me, and you will hear from me again when I am ready to move forward with my next project.

Tarney-Spencer Band Albums-Professional LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfers

Hi Stu: GREAT JOB on the two Tarney-Spencer Band CDs!! "Run For Your Life" and "Three's A Crowd" are two favorite albums from my exciting high school senior and college freshman days, and they could not possibly sound any better!

I went to a reunion last summer, and "TSB" came up in conversation. It reminded me of how much I missed hearing these albums, and got me thinking that I should look around and try to find them. They weren't released on CD, so it's a good thing that I found out about you.

I've already listened to the CDs you made more times than I can count, and my wife is getting tired of hearing me play them. Of course I'm not tired of them, my only concern is whether or not they will wear out from so much use. Is that possible?

These two discs will tide me over for awhile, but if I ever need anything else I know who to go to. Thanks again!

Rare Original CD Purchase-Customer Service

I received my Tommy Shaw CD today and was surprised that it got here so quickly, and also that the CD case did not have a single crack or flaw. It is in EXCELLENT SHAPE! I have purchased a lot of new and used CDs online before, but NONE of them ever arrived in this condition before.

Thanks for helping me add this extremely rare CD to my collection, for getting it out to me right away, and for all your care in packing it to protect it from shipping damage.

I have tried to obtain these songs for years, but could never find anything but "pieces" that were taken from the video. The sound quality is perfect too!! Thank you again, you have a GREAT service!"

I know that there are thousands of other people who are also trying to get their hands on this music, and I appreciate your assurance that you are not going to give out my name and email address so I will be hounded to death by other Ferris Bueller fanatics. G'day Stu! Thank you so very much for the marvelous Olivia Newton-John CDs you made for me. I've been a huge fan for over 35 years, and I have nearly all of her recordings, along with quite a large collection of other memorabilia. You came through for me with items that I have never really been able to find anywhere else.

I spent years searching high and low for an extremely rare early-1970s LP that Livvie did on the "Toomorrow" movie soundtrack, a mid-1970s Japanese album of her "Love Performance," and another favorite, which was a live recording called "Olivia In Concert" from her 1982 world tour. Of the three, the only thing I was ever able to find was what turned out to be a very poor quality "bootleg" CD of the Toomorrow album that I purchased from someone online. The CD sounded awful, yet I paid more than $200.00 Australian dollars for it! This made me very skeptical, so I also had doubts when enquiring about your postings. I'm happy that you were able to convince me I would not be disappointed if I chose to do business with you, and quite to the contrary, I am absolutely thrilled!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Thank you so much for finding me the Flowerpot Men "Beat City" recording, which as you know is a very highly sought tune from the "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" movie of the '80s. I've looked for this piece of music for nearly 20 years and have had virtually no luck in trying to find it. I now know why, because it was never issued on CD, and only exists on a very rare and obscure vinyl EP that I was also unable to locate anywhere else.

I am impressed with your ability to locate this exceptionally rare album ("The Janice Long Sessions"), and I think you did a great job perfecting the sound on the tracks and transfering them to CD. They sound great!! My girlfriend especially loves the CD, and we both truly appreciate all the work you've done. Thank you again!

Unbelievable job you guys did on the Buckingham-Nicks CD!! The sound is really crisp and clear, and much better than I could ever have expected to get from an album that is over 30 years old. I even listened to the CD with headphones, and cannot detect even the slightest bit of record noise.

I don't know if this album will ever come out on CD, but I can't imagine even a factory issued disc sounding better. This has always been my all-time favorite album, and I thank you so much for making my dream come true. I am REALLY pleased with your work!!

"I work for a radio station where we periodically need special songs to air on the show we do. Your access to rare recordings is really amazing, and the work you've done from vinyl is also of broadcast quality."

Audio Restoration-Custom Compilation CDs-Music Search-Customer Service

I've been doing business with you for over 12 years now, and since day one I've meant to write to tell you how much I appreciate what you do. Aside from my own personal interests, I work for a radio station where we periodically need special songs to air on the show we do. Many of those songs are long out-of-print and are really hard to find on CD, and some as I have discovered, don't exist on CD at all.

Our station subscribes to a professional service who offers an extensive catalogue of tunes they can make available, but even with their huge library, they cannot supply many of the songs I've needed. Your access to rare recordings is really amazing, and the work you've done from vinyl is also of broadcast quality. All this has enabled me to provide our listeners with an especially interesting music program, that includes many of the more obscure hits that didn't quite make it to the Top 20 or Top 40.

Thank you again for all of the superior quality work you've done, and the great service you've always given me. As I am always very pleased to use you as a resource, I will continue to use your services and also recommend them to others whenever possible.

"I was happy with two of the services, yet I still found flaws. Your work on my "special" projects surpassed everything else, and I was impressed that you were even able to improve on a few of the CDs that I previously had made."

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Quality & Cost Comparisons

This is to thank you for the outstanding job you did on the CDs you created for me. The finished sound quality on each was phenomenal, and was far better than I received from any of four other services I used. It was well worth the money!

I don't know how people in your field establish fees, but since you had asked, I respectively paid $35.00; $65.00; $85.00; and $100.00 for the top quality provided by each of the other companies. To define what I got for my money... the $35.00 job was crap, the $85.00 job was good, and at $65.00 and $100.00, the quality was in my opinion very good. I was happy with two of the services, yet I still found flaws. What I received from them was more than acceptable for some of the recordings, but I had a few that I wanted to be as close to perfect as possible. Your work on my "special" projects surpassed everything else, and I was impressed that you were even able to improve on a few of the CDs that I previously had made.

Unquestionably, there are a LOT of record to CD transfer businesses floating around the internet, and there is a huge gap when it comes to quality and reliability. Some services are better or worse than others, regardless of the cost. I have to say that your finished CDs do sound cleaner and fuller than the very best I got elsewhere for up to $100.00, and the reproduction of the artwork was beautiful. It was also great that you were able to complete everything in less than a week. True, there was a considerable jump in the cost, but again, for me it was worth it. Keep up the great work!!

Hi Stu. Thank you for the update regarding the response you received from the article I wrote for the Star Tribune, which ran back in October. "When I sat down and listened to the first one or two CDs you did for me, I could tell right off that there was a big difference in sound quality compared to those done by the other service. I had always noticed that their transfers sounded somewhat muffled, but I never complained because I didn't know there was anything better out there."

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Quality & Reliability Comparisons

Dear Stu, I'm so sorry for the time it took me to send you feedback on my first experience with your company's services, but I wanted to think it through so I could say exactly what I wanted to say.

Before discovering Worldwide Music Network, I had used another service to transfer my LPs to CD format. I have so many albums that were never re-released on CD, I realized that my only option was to locate someone to convert them for me. Awhile back I found a service on the internet called LP2CD.com who is based in Florida, and sent them my first record to have it transferred. I was in tears because I finally had one of my favorite recordings on CD, and I continued using that company for several years. I didn't even try to look for any other service, because at the time I was satisfied.

One day this company posted on their website that they would not be taking any more orders for several months. By that time I had accumulated a lot of albums I wanted to transfer, so I was frustrated at having to wait indefintely to get them done. Then to my surprise, I read an article last fall in my local newspaper that featured Worldwide Music Network, a company right here in the Twin Cities that specializes in "studio quality" CD conversions from records and tapes. It was nice to find out that there was someone here in my area that could do my transfers, where before I had to mail my LPs through the postal service. I liked the idea that I could save time, inconvenience, and money, and I also saw this as an opportunity to compare your services to those of the other company I had used.

Not only were you able to get my projects done far more quickly, but your CDs were of much higher quality. Even at your most basic level, your CDs were better sounding than those produced by the other company using their "premium" service! The "Fox & The Hound" and "Bert & Ernie Sing-Along" CDs you did for me are fabulous!! I previously used this other company to get three other "Sesame Street" albums converted, and they really don't compare whatsoever! When I sat down and listened to the first one or two CDs you did for me, I could tell right off that there was a big difference in sound quality compared to those done by the other service. I had always noticed that their transfers sounded somewhat muffled, but I never complained because I didn't know there was anything better out there.

I am really happy to know that I can get better quality right here in town, and can put my money into my projects rather than into shipping my albums across the country to someone whose work is no longer up to my expectations! Considering that, I don't see a reason to ever go back to that other company I used, even though I've done business with them for years. Truthfully, their service is still OK if all you want is an inexpensive transfer, but it won't sound the same. You deliver a high quality product with quick and friendly service, and now that I think about it, when I have the money I would like to have you re-do some of the CDs that were done by the other company.

Thanks to the Star Tribune for giving me the opportunity to know about Worldwide Music Network.

"I realize that I did not have the budget to use your top level service, but can still say that the CDs sound absolutely great, and that you also did a beautiful job reproducing the album covers for the CD cases."

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Customer Service-Quality & Reliability Comparisons

This note is to let you know how pleased I am with the two custom made Cheryl Ladd CDs you just did for me. I realize that I did not have the budget to use your top level service, but can still say that the CDs sound absolutely great, and that you also did a beautiful job reproducing the album covers for the CD cases.

I used three other custom CD services before contacting you, all whose fees were within the $20.00-30.00 price range. The first two services I tried were both mobile disc jockeys who also do CD burning from vinyl. Not having anything to compare to, their CDs sounded OK, but in addition to the noise that was still there, the recordings sounded like they had been tampered with. In both cases they unnecessarily added a lot of bass, made the high end sound very brittle, and you could also hear the playback volume going up and down throughout each entire disc.

I later sent one of my albums to a guy whose ad said he did "professional music restoration," and that he was considered to be the "best in the business." Best in the business?? It took the guy over 3 months to send me back my album and custom CD, and when I did finally get them back, the sound on the CD was awful. Like your website warns, it was dull sounding, and was noticeably worse than the even record itself. Then to top that off, the outer jacket of my album came back bent up and without the paper inner sleeve, and the record was scuffed. It looked like it had been sitting on the guy's floor for three months, getting stepped on!

Needless to say I was very angry, so I contacted you after discovering a link to your site on one of the big search engines. I want to say without question that your service was far more professional and expedient, and your CDs were of much higher quality than anything I got from these other people, even at your most basic level. I also found that you took very good care of my precious albums, and took extra precaution when packaging them to ensure they wouldn't be damaged when they were returned.

Lastly, I really appreciate the sampler CD you sent in the package, which clearly demonstrates what your services can produce when used to their fullest extent. The completely restored tracks sound absolutely perfect, and you would never know that they came from the exact same sources as the tracks recorded right off the original records and tapes. What a difference! Now I understand what you are really capable of doing, and if I am ever able to scrape up the cash to go all the way on any future project, I will surely know what to expect.

In closing, I want to thank you again for a job well done, and assure that you will definitely hear from me again when I am ready to have my next custom CD made.

"Your impressive musical background and keen interest in music, as well as the system you have developed to produce an end-product that far exceeds expectations, made it very easy to work with you."

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfer

Hello Stu, just a note to applaud you and your wonderful service that produces a quality musical experience. After years of failing to find a certain Aretha Franklin "album" on CD (apparently "Sweet Passion" was never released on CD), I read about Worldwide Music Network in the Star Tribune and decided to pursue your services.

Your impressive musical background and keen interest in music, as well as the system you have developed to produce an end-product that far exceeds expectations, made it very easy to work with you. In addition, your detailed explanation of the procedures, available options and cost was very helpful.

Your eagerness to bring my vision to a reality was exciting. The professional, prompt and courteous service was very refreshing to experience, and I am thoroughly enjoying music from my past that sounds even better than the original LP did. Many thanks!!!

Hi Stu, I just wanted to again thank you so much for your expertise, and for your generosity in completing the CDs of my father's old 78rpm recordings. I really appreciate your going the extra mile to make me a happy camper!

I have listened to them a few times now, and I do like the sound better with the extra processing you did on the second batch. I am now very anxious to hear what my siblings have to say when they hear these CDs of Dad. In fact, I can hardly wait to give them out at Christmas! Thank you once more, and have yourself a very merry and blessed holiday season with your loved ones!

Cassette Tape Audio Restoration-CD Transfer

Stu, yesterday I finally found some quiet time to just sit and listen to the CD you made from the old cassette tape I recorded during my childhood, which was mostly of my sister and I singing and goofing off. The CD sounds great, and the memories it brought back were amazing. At one point my son came over to sit and listen with me, and I think it really showed him that Mom was a silly kid at one time, too!

I don't remember us recording the last couple tracks that were on the CD, but I was thrilled that they were there, and especially that I could hear them so clearly. You really did a great job bringing everything up to an audible and relatively equal volume level. The last two ladies in the program are my Great Aunt and my Great Grandmother, both of whom have been gone for a long time. As kids, we just recorded anyone who would talk to us, now it's kind of special to think that we have four generations of family members all on one CD. Thank you.

Since I planned to give copies of this memorable CD to my sister and a few other people as a gift, I look forward to packing up my "Christmas Morning" packages with the CDs enclosed. Thanks again!

"I am thoroughly convinced that your services are worth the extra expense. As I am sure there are many other people out there who have had similar disappointing experiences in getting custom CDs made, my regret is that I had to waste so much time and money in order to learn my lesson. The truth is that that you do get what you pay for."

LP & Cassette Tape Audio Restoration-Custom Compilation CDs-Quality & Cost Comparisons

I used your services about 3 years ago to make a custom CD from some old obscure records I recorded onto a cassette tape, and to this day it is still one of my very favorite CDs. In checking around, I felt the cost of your services was comparatively high, but went ahead with it anyway. I was very impressed with the finished product, and could not figure out how you were able to get rid of virtually all of the record noise, without messing up the sound of the recordings. So here I am contacting you again about another project, the first one since that great job you did before.

I have to tell you though, that this is not the only custom CD project I have decided to get done in the last 3 years, and I admit that the reason I didn't contact you about those others was due to price considerations. There are so many custom CD services out there now, I figured that even though I was really pleased with the first CD you did for me, somebody somewhere could probably do the same quality work as you, but for a lower price. During that time I contacted and tried more than a dozen other services, hearing all the sales pitches and promises, and spending my money on what ultimately turned out to be very mediocre work. I think I now have a pretty good idea of what most custom disc services do, especially considering what the majority of them charge.

I have not found anyone else who does nearly as good a job when it comes to producing custom CDs from records or tapes, and that includes "professional recording studios." Having gone through all that "trial and error," I am thoroughly convinced that your services are worth the extra expense. As I am sure there are many other people out there who have had similar disappointing experiences in getting custom CDs made, my regret is that I had to waste so much time and money in order to learn my lesson. The truth is that that you do get what you pay for. As soon as I have my next project organized, I will send you my records & tapes and have you work your magic on them. I'm really glad you guys are still around.

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfer

Hi Stu, I just wanted to let you know that I listened to the CD you made from my Emmylou Harris "Thirteen" LP, and the sound quality is equal to any commercial CD I've ever heard. Great job!!

Unfortunately, the CD wouldn't play in my computer's old CD-ROM drive, so I took it to my girlfriend's son's house and had him make me an MP3 copy of it, and that one played OK. So I have my MP3s and all is right in the world, but your CD still sounds much better, especially on a good stereo system.

I think it's time to give my ol' computer the heave ho. Maybe Santa will be kind this year. Again, many thanks for saving Emmylou from oblivion.

"The folks at Joel Whitburn's Record Research, Inc. told me that Worldwide Music Network is the best service they could recommend to remaster recordings for CD. It turns out they were right, you did a fantastic job!"

Custom Reunion CD-LP Audio Restoration & Enhancement-Customer Service

I'm writing to let you know how pleased I am with the work you did for me on my West Point Academy class reunion CD. The reunion isn't until September, but I can hardly wait to hear the reactions of my classmates when they listen to the CD.

While I had fun selecting the songs, it was a bit of a hassle trying to obtain licensing for them. Just when I thought I had everything under control, I then realized that there was still one more important step to be accomplished.... I needed to have all the songs on the CD match in terms of playback volume and tonal quality. That's where you came in. The folks at Joel Whitburn's Record Research, Inc. told me that Worldwide Music Network is the best service they could recommend to remaster recordings for CD, including optimizing volume levels. It turns out they were right, you did a fantastic job!

In addition, there was one particular song that I wanted to include, for which the "hit version" has never been made available on CD. I don't know how you did it, but you were able to immediately procure a mint condition copy of the original vinyl LP, and made the track I wanted sound terrific on the reunion CD! In fact, you were also able to enhance quite a few of the other songs that came right off the CDs I sent, which would otherwise have sounded slightly "flat."

It has been a pleasure to talk with someone who is so knowledgeable about pop music, and so customer-service oriented. When I needed to make some changes, you accomodated me with a friendly attitude, ensuring that the new replacement songs would be promptly integrated into the finished CD. I truly appreciate your professionalism, and your "can do" attitude.

"If anyone out there has any doubt as to whether or not you are worth what you charge, all I can say on your behalf is that I can't imagine anyone doing a better job at ANY price!"

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Editing

A great big "thank you" for the truly outstanding job you did restoring my two Dave Brubeck albums and remastering them for CD. These are among my most treasured original LPs, both of which I purchased when they first came out back in the early to mid-1960's, and both of which have for whatever reason never been reissued on CD. I own several of the Brubeck CD reissues that have been offered by Sony Records, and I honestly feel that both of the CDs you reproduced from my 35-40 year old albums sound every bit as good.

I've tried to keep my album collection safely stored and in pretty good shape over the years, but I am also aware that a number of my records have suffered some damage, due to the mediocre hi-fi equipment I was limited to using back in those days. These two LPs I sent you were definitely loaded with crackle and pops, and even a few bad skips caused by the occasional abuse of others who then had access to my records.

"I examined my records before sending them. After listening to the finished CDs you made from those same albums, I can state without exaggeration that there was not a single speck of noise present on either of the discs, and that you were also able to edit out every one of those nasty skips. I am summarily impressed with your overall expertise in doing audio restoration."

I now have a nice stereo system with a decent turntable, and was able to hear all of the noise when I examined my records before sending them. After listening to the finished CDs you made from those same albums, I can state without exaggeration that there was not a single speck of noise present on either of the discs, and that you were also able to edit out every one of those nasty skips. I can't tell how or where you did the editing, but along with the general noise removal, I am summarily impressed with your overall expertise in doing audio restoration.

Thanks so much for the truly expert work on my CDs, I am extremely pleased. If anyone out there has any doubt as to whether or not you are worth what you charge, all I can say on your behalf is that I can't imagine anyone doing a better job at ANY price!

Custom DVD-Audio Production-LP Audio Restoration

I just have to thank you for the marvelous job you did with my Herb Alpert collection, restoring all 27 albums in full 24-bit/96k sound and remastering them for DVD Audio. I had spent years searching for these albums on CD but was never able to find them, and then I ran across the letter posted on your site from another client who is also a huge Tijuana Brass fan (obviously a man with very good taste). Reading that customer's note prompted me to contact you about your specialized services, and I am really glad that I did.

I recently added a DENON DVD-3800 DVD player to my system, and the reproduction of music via the Pure Audio Mode is so precise that I am sure I could detect any sound imperfections. I am truly amazed at how you were able to produce such a completely clean sound from each of the LPs I sent, and also at how much of a difference there is listening to high resolution playback of these recordings, compared to an album or CD. It is also nice to have as many as 7 albums on one disc for "extra long play."

I must say you are quite adept at your craft, and I would strongly recommend your services to anyone who has an appreciation for high quality. I also highly recommend the DVD Audio format as a higher grade of music reproduction.

I will be very pleased to pass your name around, as well as to contact you about future projects. I thank you again, and wish Worldwide Music Network much success.

Cassette Tape Audio Restoration-CD Transfer

Thanks for the great work in restoring the 18-year old cassette tape recording of my high school rock band. The CD you made sounds great, and the inserts for the CD case came out perfectly, with photos of the band on the front, back and inside covers. It was a very nice package.

My gathering with the band members last weekend (a surprise reunion party) was a smashing success, especially when I gave a copy of the CD to each stunned member of the group. We had a great time listening to the 15-track disc, and everyone repeated what a great idea it was to restore the tape.

Thanks again for all your help at Worldwide Music Network. It was a fun process which was carried out very professionally.

Custom Live CD-Cassette Tape Audio Restoration

Just wanted you to know that the CD you made from the live cassette recording of my father's dixieland jazz band was really great! I listened to it right away in my car and couldn't wait to give it to him, which I did over this past weekend.

My Dad was floored with the CD. I have never seen him smile and sit still for that long (for an hour), happily listening to his CD. He really thought it was fantastic. They just got a new Bose system for their anniversary, and your CD sure sounded good.

Thank you once more, I think we did good work!! I will get in touch with you again in a few months to talk about the 8mm reels of film that I would like to get transferred to DVD. Looking forward to meeting again in the near future!!

Custom DVD Audio Production-LP Audio Restoration

Thank you for the great work you did in creating a DVD-audio disc of my three favorite Martin Briley albums. You did an outstanding job removing all of the record noise from the two LPs I sent ( "Fear Of The Unknown" and "One Night with A Stranger" ), they sound as clean as the "Dangerous Moments" CD that I also sent with the albums. I can hear quite a difference, even between the original CD tracks and those you remastered in the 24-bit format. I also find it very convenient to have all three albums on a single DVD, which would not have been possible on a CD.

I am very pleased with the quality of your production, and have no problem considering your restorations and CD upgrades for other projects. I have TONS of 70's and 80's music that never even made it to CD, so I may be able to keep you busy for quite awhile.

I don't have access to the internet, but when you told me about the page on your website where you post comments offered by your clients, I wanted to take the opportunity to write so I could add my own personal feedback.

I have worked with WORLDWIDE MUSIC NETWORK for about 9 years now, primarily using your custom disc services. I'm a pretty fussy customer, but have been very pleased with all the CDs you have made for me. You always pay close attention to the specifics of my requests, and each time have gotten everything done to my satisfaction. In many cases you exceeded my expectations, and I appreciate that.

Your recording, restoration and editing services are exceptional, and you have always gotten my projects done and shipped back to me in just a matter of days. I feel you are really good at what you do, and are also very reliable. THAT is why I send my projects to you, NOT because you have the lowest fees around.

I am aware of the difficulties you are experiencing in today's market, having to compete with all the low-ball custom CD services that are out there now. There are plenty of them right here in New York City as well as other parts of the country, and I have not heard the most complimentary things about some of them. But if anyone should ever question the quality, reliability or monetary value of your services, I can tell them without reservation that you are well worth what you charge, and that you always deliver a quality product.

I have many other custom discs I intend to do over the course of this next year and beyond, and will certainly call you when I am ready to have you do them. My best wishes to you.

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfers-Music Search Customer Service

I am an avid music enthusiast and fan of Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass , Sergio Mendes , and Julius Wechter's Baja Marimba Band. But as I learned, much of the music recorded by these groups has never been issued on CD, which was a great disappointment to me. However, when I discovered WORLDWIDE MUSIC NETWORK earlier this year, I was pleased to know that you specialize in locating hard to find records and CDs, and also do professional work restoring the sound from old LPs and archiving the finished recordings onto CD.

We had a lengthy phone discussion about what you do, and I was very comfortable with the way everything was thoroughly and clearly presented to me. The conversation was very friendly, and the explanations made a great deal of sense to me. When it came to discussing fees, it sounded like you were going to cost much more than other services I had heard about who transfer albums and tapes onto recordable CDs. But I was impressed and confident enough to give you a try, and I felt I could trust you. The results turned out absolutely perfect, far better than I had expected.

Since that time I have had you locate ALL of the Baja Marimba Band albums and remaster them for CD, and they truly sound as good as CDs I have bought in stores. I have also since had you custom produce all the Herb Alpert albums that were not issued on CD, and all of the Sergio Mendes albums as well. Your company also did a wonderful job reproducing the album artwork for the CD cases, they too look great. You really do an incredible job for people who want top quality and are willing to pay for it, and it is also a plus that you can work with records customers send, or can find records needed to do requested projects.

I would highly recommend your services to anyone who wants these or other recordings on CD, with crystal clear, professional grade sound. I can honestly say that after more than 60 custom made CDs you have done for me, you have never failed me once. Thanks to WORLDWIDE MUSIC NETWORK , I now have a CD collection that I used to only dream about. I'm very happy with everything you've done for me.

Thanks for the quick and professional service you gave me with my first audio CD, which was a restoration of the Hollyridge Strings "Christmas Favorites" LP from the mid-60s. The sound quality was excellent, and I couldn't believe my ears when I played the CD! In my opinion, it was even better than many commercial CDs that are available.

Being a first time customer, I was also impressed with the quality customer service I received. I am looking forward to future projects with Worldwide Music Network, and will give my highest recommendation to anyone who needs audio/visual restoration work done. Thanks again, it was an extreme pleasure to do business with you.

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfers

Thanks for the prompt, personalized and professional work you did in restoring and transcribing to CD the two old jazz LPs I sent you. The albums respectively date back to 1955 and 1959, and had previously been played dozens of times on whatever cheap turntable was available at the time. I looked around for years for CD releases of both albums, but to no avail. I finally discovered that they were never released on CD.

The custom CDs you made for me are incredible. The pops, hisses and other noises on the old LPs have been completely removed, leaving the original sound intact, and now also on CD.

If any prospective customers want a reference, feel free to give them my email address, and I will be happy to relate my satisfaction with your service. Thanks again.

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfer-Album Cover Art

I just received my custom CD of Peabo Bryson's "Reaching For The Sky" album yesterday, and played it last night. I am over the moon with the work you have done for me. The quality of the sound is superb, as is the original album artwork you reproduced.

Mr. Bryson sounded better than ever, and I mean that truthfully. The clarity of the sound is absolutely first class, which goes hand in hand with the excellent customer service you have provided throughout our transactions.

A big THANK YOU from a very delighted "international" customer.

LP Audio Restoration-Custom Big Band CD

I am so pleased with the quality of your work! The album that you restored and transferred to CD for me turned out even better than I expected. You were able to take an old big band LP from the mid-50s, clean it up so well that it sounds better than new, and gives me the opportunity to hear one of my all time favorites once again.

What a great job! No hiss, pops or scratches, as I've found is often the case when inferior work is done. I also want to thank you for the terrific graphics, as you were able to do a nice job reproducing the album jacket precisely for the CD jewel case.

I am only too happy to recommend your services to those of us who want to preserve and play our old albums on CD. Again, great job! Thanks!!

LP Audio Restoration-Custom Compilation CDs-Music Search

I want to thank you very much for the two Custom CDs you just completed for me. The quality of your work is superb! I had been looking for a long time for two particular songs on CD (one by the rock group "707" and the other from the "Manhunter" soundtrack). I could not find them anywhere, because they they apparently were not issued in CD format, and are also very difficult to find on vinyl. I was thrilled to find out that you had access to these two songs, and so I engaged you to restore and compile the two tracks onto a disc. When the CD arrived, I listened to it and found that it sounded absolutely GREAT!!

For my second request, I had also been looking for a long time for a particular track by Keith Thomas ("Midnight Celebration"). Through your resources you were able to confirm that the song was present on a rare album called "Instrumental Appetite," that had only been issued on vinyl. I had you conduct a search for the LP, and you really outdid yourself by somehow finding it in less than a day. Unbelievable! I then asked you to fully restore the one song I wanted and just do a basic transfer on the rest of the LP, but you went ahead and did a full restore on the entire album without charging me the full amount. I was not expecting that. You are very kind! I received the CD today and just got done listening to it, and it sounds wonderful.

I would highly recommend your services to anyone who wants to have particular music restored onto CD, and would also highly recommend your music search services as well. I plan on doing more business with you in the future, and will contact you once I am ready with the next project I want you to work on for me. You are a true professional! Again, many thanks!

Music Search-Rare CDs-Professional Services

Over the past 7-1/2 years you have found some extremely rare CDs for me, including some I never knew existed. You are very knowledgable of the music industry, and offer great professional services. I also appreciate that you randomly find rare items I might want, then contact me by phone or e-mail to see if I am interested in buying them before you put them up for auction.

I don't know how your other customers use your services, I guess some have you do searches, some have you do custom work, and others just want the rare collectable stuff. I know it's true that in today's times it is hard to justify spending a couple hundred dollars for a CD, and I admit that some of these are expensive for me. But I also know that when I look back some day, I will feel proud that I have a very unique CD collection, and much of that will be because of you.

I want to thank you once again for the work you do. Nobody finds the stuff that you do, and I've worked with plenty of other people/companies. You really are the answer to a true music lover's dream. I hope to send you an updated want list in the near future. Thanks again for your AWESOME efforts in helping me with my music requests!

78 RPM Record Audio Restoration-CD Transfer-Customer Service-Quality & Reliability Comparisons

After working with WORLDWIDE MUSIC NETWORK now on three separate projects, I have found you to be the most professional restoration service on the internet. I have nothing but good things to say about your services. You did an excellent job removing all the background noise from my damaged 78 rpm records, and returned my original recordings and my restored CDs faster than I ever expected. Maybe even more importantly, you treated both me and my restoration projects with the utmost of respect and integrity, right from our first conversation.

Talking about another experience, I have previously dealt with a few other restoration services, one of which is a very well known operation based in Toronto, Canada. For all of the credentials they bragged about (they claim to do a lot of work for major record companies), they had my records in their possession for over a year, but never did the project. On several occasions when I called to inquire about it, I was repeatedly told they were "very busy and would be getting to it soon. " After hearing that a few times while months passed by, I started to feel I was being treated with arrogance, and that my project was of little importance to them.

When more than 10 months went by, I finally asked the guy in Canada to send my records back. He told me I was making a big mistake, that no one else would be able to do my project. I also had to pay the return shipping cost. I found this attitude to be totally self-serving and unprofessional, and it left me with a very bad impression of restoration services. That, of course, was until I found your site and contacted you.

I must say that I did not experience that type of attitude with you in the slightest way. You deal with your customers on a very personal basis and treat them with respect, and you take the time to explain things. Not only do you provide great customer service, but your music restoration capabilities are remarkable. I truly believe that WORLDWIDE MUSIC NETWORK is the best restoration service on the planet... period. Thanks so much for your efforts!!

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfer

I just received the CD you did from my old gospel album, "These Singing Hills," and all I can say is WOW!! The first person that listened to the CD with me was a member of the group who played and sang on the album, and he could hardly sit still as he listened to it. He had never before heard his part so clearly defined.

It's too bad that one group member has since passed on and could not have heard the album in its restored version. But I feel it was well worth the price to have you work on this album for me, and more. There was no record noise to notice anywhere throughout the CD, it was so clean and clear. You did a nice job on the record jacket too.

If I can find a copy of the only other album the Hill Family made, I will send that one to you too. I am just delighted. Thanks again, and God bless you.

LP Audio Restoration-CD Transfer

I recently received my CD of the "Doctor & The Medics" 12" single project, and am extremely pleased! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for going above and beyond the call of duty on this one, and getting it to me so quickly! You knew I needed this done right away, and you worked through the weekend so you could finish it up and get it in the mail to me on Monday morning. There was no sacrifice in quality either!

I just transferred the songs to my Sony MP3 player, and the sound quality is phenomenal! I can't tell any difference in quality between the tracks you restored from my 12" vinyl single, and other tracks I ripped from the Journey and Night Ranger CDs made by SONY and MCA Records!

Yes you are expensive compared to many other services, but you truly do an excellent job! If you want anything of high quality you are always going to pay a steeper price for it, there is no getting around that. Some people may not understand or accept that, but I sure do. My music is very important to me, so I am willing to pay what it costs to get the job done right!

I have dealt with you for 2 or 3 years now, but even though your services are well worth the higher cost at your normal fees, you have sometimes offered to cut me a break on the price when you felt you were able to do that. I really appreciate that, and it shows that you are also honest and consciencious!

I also do business on eBay and other places on the internet, and some of the sellers out there are very deceptive and dishonest. There is absolutely no deception when one deals with you. You tell your customers exactly what their projects will cost, you answer their questions and explain what they need to know. I have never gotten anything less than what you promised.

You have said that many people pass on your services because of the price, and because most custom CD services are so much cheaper. Let me just say that if the person who hesitates or turns away because of your fees would just spend the money to have you do ONE CD project, they would clearly understand the difference, and would see that what I am saying here is true!

I sincerely hope your business prospers, and thank you once again. Keep up the good work!

This is to let you know how pleased I am with the overall quality of the CD you custom-produced for me, which was of the Sharky's Machine movie soundtrack. This is arguably one of my favorite LPs, one that I unfortunately let slip into disrepair over the years. What you have done with the jazz riffs is nothing short of spectacular, and even the tracks you indicated would be problematic with this older, poorer quality vinyl source, came out just fine.

It is such a pleasure to finally have "Sharky" on CD, and available for crystal clear play over the course of my life. Hey, whatever years I have left, I'd prefer them to be good ones filled with great music! I am more than satisfied with the sound reproduction, and want to add that your service was both timely and professional. When spending this kind of money for a single CD, it is very assuring to be treated as a valued customer right from the get-go.

I will gladly recommend you to friends with out of print vinyl, although I'm not sure how many of them are willing to make this kind of investment. But if I have further needs, you can be certain I will be calling on you. Thanks once again!

I am writing to express my complete satisfaction with the sound restoration you performed on my traditional Dixieland Jazz collection of LPs and tapes. I am also pleased that you were able to locate quality copies of all of the rare LPs I asked you to find, which I either did not have to send, or that needed to be replaced.

As we discussed, I had terrible experiences in the past with a number of other so-called restoration services, but after working with you for several months, have found you to be very prompt and courteous in the manner with which my projects were undertaken. I can also honestly say that I have found your work to be much better than I expected, and your charges for the services provided to be quite reasonable, given all of the time and effort you put forth. I will be happy to recommend your services to anyone.

Sorry for the delay in confirming my receipt of the Joan Baez "Gulf Winds" CD you custom produced for me. Listening to the CD stirred many memories.

Years ago I had been corresponding with Joan Baez's mother, and it was she who originally recommended the album, which I first bought in Los Angeles back in 1977. The songs meant so much to me for two reasons... 1) I understood the lyrics completely because of the background Joan's mom had provided, and 2) the songs could have been about us... so many lines deliciously appropriate to a mixed race family.

I am so pleased that I made the effort to locate this recording again, and that I found you. Thank you for all your services. Every good wish.

Diana Patricia H. - London, England

Enclosed is my check and LP source for a custom-made CD of "Gulf Winds" by Joan Baez. I very much appreciate your taking the time to explain your services to me, and your consideration in making this CD for me. My confidence in your work comes from reading the information on your website, and also from talking to you directly.

Experience has taught me that the combination of a thorough knowledge of one's field, coupled with a passion for one's work, invariably produces quality. You seem to possess both qualities in my estimation, and so I thank you in advance.

A somewhat less tangible but nonetheless viable source of confidence, comes from personal connections (in this rather unconnected world we live in). I happened to notice on the list of titles you have remastered for CD, an album you have done by a perhaps relatively obscure artist named "Happy Traum." My brother and I went to camp with Happy and his younger brother, Artie, and in fact, Artie became my first boyfriend at age 12. Considering the slight chances of "Happy" turning up on any list of music, let alone one that is very limited, his appearance on your site can only further signify a good decision on my part.

Again, I thank you, and I eagerly await the arrival of my custom-produced CD.

I just wanted to tell you that everything you've done for me in the past year with my custom CD projects has been absolutely great. I really appreciate the quality of the sound, and have to say that the album artwork reproduction has also been superb... as good as buying any CD from a music store. If it wasn't for Worldwide Music , I doubt that I would have these now to enjoy whenever I want. Thanks again!

What is also great about your service, is that when I didn't have that special LP to do the remastering and reproduction, Worldwide Music has a great search line to locate long lost LPs. That's where you also come in handy. There is a lot of great music from the late 70's and early 80's that never made it to CD, which is my personal interest. Some of those albums are very tough to track down, but you found each one I was not able to provide, and they were all in very nice shape. I am sure you have made many customers' dreams come true in the same way as you did for me.

Why take second best when you can have THE best from Worldwide Music ?... that's MY opinion. Thank you for the thoughtful greeting card, and for always coming through with high quality work. You'll be hearing from me again down the road.

Thank you for the outstanding work you did in creating a custom CD from my Elton John "Live Concert" VHS tape. The sound quality is excellent, and you did a nice job removing the tape hiss as well. I also like the way you enhanced the stereo separation, it really added to the dimensional effects of the sound.

Having a rather expensive surround sound home theater system, it was nice to close my eyes and feel like I was right there in the middle of the concert as it was being performed. All I can say is thanks again for the great work. It was well worth the expense.

As a dealer of quality vinyl records, I have been very pleased to assist you over the past few years with product you have needed for your customers. Now I can also add that I am very pleased to have established an arrangement by which I can also offer your professional vinyl restoration and custom CD production services to my customers.

The three people I have thus far sent your way have all come back to me praising your work, saying that it is "topnotch," and also stating that they were treated in a kind and businesslike manner. Our arrangement has proven to be mutually beneficial and satisfactory to all concerned, including myself, my customers, and you. On that basis, I am completely confident in referring anyone to utilize your services, and will continue to make those recommendations. Keep up the good work!

I have relied on WORLDWIDE MUSIC NETWORK to locate obscure and hard-to-find CDs for several years now. I have always been very pleased with their service! As a serious collector of rare material, it always amazes me how little time it takes for them to find CDs that I have looked for years to find.

It's tempting to think they are expensive, until you realize how much time, money, and energy it would take to locate all those rare CDs yourself. In my position, I'd rather pay a company that has cultivated such a true "worldwide network" of music fans and music-related businesses to locate the CDs I want, instead of trying to find them myself. I don't think there's any other company out there that does what WORLDWIDE MUSIC NETWORK does so well!

This is one of the very best music services I have ever encountered! They seem to have items that nobody else has. I found them recently on the internet and purchased two items through one of their online auctions. I was very pleased with my CDs, both of which I had been trying to find for several years. The CDs were like brand new!! I have since used their search services twice, and both times my requested items were found.

I also decided to try this company to produce a custom made CD from a vinyl album I sent, which I was told had never been released on CD. They were able to remove ALL audible noise, and the sound quality was absolutely perfect! I was not only amazed at the quality, but was surprised to get my CD and LP back within a week and a half from the date I sent it.

I feel that the people at WORLDWIDE MUSIC NETWORK are knowledgeable, and also very pleasant to deal with. Though their prices are not cheap, I would highly recommend this service to anyone. I truly believe that they are the best in the business at what they do!!

I have dealt with several different businesses that all claim to do the best work around in making custom CDs, but from my experiences, WORLDWIDE MUSIC NETWORK is by far the best. They can take an old vinyl record and perform digital sound restoration, and make a custom CD out of it that sounds better than some commercially issued CDs. They are very friendly people to deal with, and they always go the extra mile to make sure that their customers are 100% satisfied. I continue to use and recommend their CD services over anyone else's, simply because I know I will always get what I pay for.

Thanks so much for the Custom "I Am Siam" CD! I am VERY impressed. Not only is the reproduction of the album artwork first class, but the sound is incredible! I will be glad to spread the word as much as possible. I will also try to work something into the home page this week as well as our e-groups mail list. Thanks again.

Despite the distance, my goods were dispatched promptly and arrived without a hitch. The service provided was excellent. I recommend this service and company. A fast and friendly group.
